Viviana Triana, Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor, Certified EMDR Therapist, Approved Consultant, and Trainer, brings extensive experience and dedication to her work. Born in Colombia, South America, she proudly identifies as bilingual and bicultural, enriching her practice with diverse perspectives. Viviana's professional trajectory includes significant experience in trauma-informed care and advocacy for social justice. Her clinical focus is on assisting individuals and families facing complex traumas in various settings, such as rape crisis centers, homeless youth shelters, domestic violence shelters, and community mental health programs.

Beyond her practice, Viviana actively contributes to advancing the field by writing for professional journals and contributing sections in prominent publications such as "Cultural Competence and Healing Culturally Based Trauma with EMDR Therapy – 2nd Edition," "EMDR with Children in the Play Therapy Room: An Integrated Approach," and "EMDR Group Therapy: Emerging Principles and Protocols to Treat Trauma and Beyond." Additionally, she is approved as a provider of advanced EMDR trainings, conducting trainings on EMDR therapy protocols for Early Intervention and Ongoing Traumatic Stress. Currently, Viviana serves as Senior Program Director at Youth180, where she leads initiatives dedicated to providing vital support in Mental Health and Substance Abuse for youth and their families in Dallas, Texas.
